Interim actions, overdue and escalation

Interim actions

For serious findings, your Remediation Standards can require an interim action within a number of days: something to reduce the risk while the real fix is on its way. Until one is added, the finding shows "Interim action needed by …" in amber, turning red once the date passes. Once it's passed, the finding is flagged and counted on the dashboard.

Overdue

An action past its due date shows as overdue, in red, on the register, the finding and the Calendar.

Escalation

If an action stays overdue, Conform escalates it inside the app:

  1. After N days overdue, it's escalated to the finding's owner.

  2. After 2N days (or straight away for an action with no finding owner), it's escalated to everyone who manages actions.

Escalated actions get an Escalated badge and appear under "Escalated - long overdue" on the Findings Dashboard. Moving the due date clears the escalation.

N is set in the tenancy settings (7 days by default; 0 turns escalation off).

Email reminders aren't sent yet. Escalation shows inside Conform.
