Import and export items

Export

Choose Export to download the grid's items as CSV (for spreadsheets) or JSON, up to 5,000 at a time. You get what your role can see, nothing more. Exporting needs the Topic permission to export.

Import (Load items)

  1. Choose Load items and pick your file.

  2. Conform checks the whole file first and tells you about any problems, row by row.

  3. If it's all good, load it. Everything loads together, or nothing does.

Updating existing items

Give each row a key (your own reference from the other system) and loading again updates those items instead of adding new ones. Or include the item reference to update a particular item.

Undo a load

Loads lists what's been loaded. A load can be undone as long as nobody has touched those items since.
