Manage a unit's controls

Each unit comes with controls from Conform's data pack. You can tailor them to how you really work.

Add a control

  1. On the unit screen, click Add in the Controls panel.

  2. Enter its name and description.

  3. Set its strength: how much it reduces the risk when it's working.

  4. Choose what it reduces: the impact, the likelihood, or both.

  5. Give a reason and save.

Change a control

Click the edit icon on a control to change its name, description or strength. What it reduces can't be changed once it's added. Every change needs a reason.

Remove a control

Click the remove icon and give a reason. The control moves to Removed controls, where you can bring it back.

Testing on each control

Each control has a one-line testing summary: is it proven by testing, contradicted, or not tested yet? Open its Testing to see more, or use Test it to test it now. See Test it.

Use the filter chips at the top of the Controls panel (for example Failed or Untested) to narrow the list.

Good to know

  • Changes to data pack controls only affect your tenancy.

  • You need permission to manage controls, and your workflow role must allow it at the unit's current stage.
