The Remediation Standards set how findings are dealt with, for each severity. Open them from Findings → Remediation Standards.

For each severity
Column | Sets |
|---|---|
Fix within | How long from raising to the fix-by date. |
Accept instead | The longest a finding can be accepted instead of fixed, or Not allowed. |
Verify actions | Whether someone else must confirm an action was done. See Verify an action. |
Proof to finish | Whether a photo or document is expected on an action before it's marked done. |
Interim action within | How soon an interim action must be in place (blank: not needed). See Interim actions, overdue and escalation. |
The Recommended standards ask for verification and proof on Critical and High findings, and an interim action within 1 day for Critical and 7 days for High.
Changing them
Just like the Testing Plan: prepare a draft, then someone who can approve it approves it. Self-approval is allowed but recorded, unless your tenancy settings require someone else. Review them yearly; the date is on the Calendar. Every approved version is kept; use Show history to see them.
