The Back-Log holds the units that are due to be assessed this cycle and haven't been started yet. Open it from Assessment → Back-Log.

What's on each card
The unit's name and risk type.
Its severity and its governing bodies (hover over a badge for the regulator's details).
A due badge showing when it's due, or that it's overdue.
Flags from testing, for example when a test of one of its controls failed since its last assessment. See Proposals from testing.
Click a card to see its summary and history in the right-hand panel.
What you can do
Button | What it does |
|---|---|
Start | Starts the assessment: the unit moves to the first column of the Activity Board. |
Start & open | Starts it and opens the unit screen straight away. |
Not applicable | Takes the unit out of scope, with a reason. See Mark a unit not applicable. |
Pending and Not applicable
The toggle at the top switches between:
Pending - units waiting to be started (the usual view);
Not applicable - units you've taken out of scope, with Applicable to bring one back.
Use the search box to find a unit by name.
If nothing can be started and you see "The Assessment workflow hasn't been published yet", someone needs to publish it first. See Design and publish a workflow.
